Job of a Business Intelligence Manager
The Business Intelligence Manager supports the organisations and business units by advising on the design of complex reporting and analytical solutions. He/She helps in developing roadmaps for optimising BI analysis insights and sets the guidelines for the development of end-user reports. He/She oversees data sourcing, acquisition, cleaning, integration, exploration, delivery of data related projects and provides advice on models based on project requirements. He/She is also responsible for conducting data quality reviews, managing problem definition and hypothesis formulation in an organisation. A BI Manager is expected to closely with the various business units and stakeholders to define business and information needs, guide feasibility and functional studies, influence integration of data across the enterprise, develop and design specification proposals and recommend the types of data needed to measure and predict outcomes.
